About This Tour
Kenya is one of the world's great safari destinations — and this 12-day circuit hits every highlight without compromise. Begin in the legendary Masai Mara with its unparalleled big cat density and (July–October) the world's greatest wildlife spectacle, the Great Migration river crossings. Continue north through the Aberdares to Samburu, Kenya's dramatic northern frontier where five species occur that are found nowhere else in East Africa. Stop at Ol Pejeta for rhino tracking and the world's last northern white rhinos. Descend to the Rift Valley for a million flamingos at Lake Nakuru before ending in Amboseli where enormous elephant bulls pose against the snow-capped summit of Kilimanjaro. This is Kenya in its entirety — a country that has defined the idea of safari for over a century, and still delivers it better than anywhere on Earth.
