About This Tour

This 7-day Uganda safari combines the country's two most iconic wildlife experiences: a mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest — home to roughly half the world's remaining mountain gorillas — and game drives through Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector and the massive hippo and bird concentrations along the Kazinga Channel. You'll stay in intimate lodges set within or on the edge of the forest and savannah, guided by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers who know these animals intimately. The gorilla trek itself takes between two and six hours depending on where the family has moved overnight — every step deeper into the mist-shrouded forest building the anticipation for the hour you'll spend with one of our closest relatives.
