This 8-day safari covers Uganda's spectacular northern and western circuits without requiring the premium gorilla permit — making it an outstanding value introduction to Uganda's wildlife. The centrepiece is Murchison Falls National Park, where the entire Victoria Nile is squeezed through a 7-metre rock gorge with thunderous force. En route, you'll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary — Uganda's only place to walk with wild white rhinos — and spend time tracking chimpanzees in Kibale Forest. The Nile boat safari at Murchison is one of Africa's greatest wildlife experiences: hours drifting past enormous hippo pods, Nile crocodiles, and extraordinary birdlife including the shoebill stork, one of the world's most sought-after birds.
